At meny.no we use Google Analytics for website analysis. This is done by Google downloading cookies to your browser. Using cookies, Google Analytics collects usage information. The information is stored anonymously, without identifying you, and MENU only receives summarized statistics for the website. Examples of what such statistics provide answers to are how many people visit the website, which pages they visit and how long they have been on the website. The user statistics are stored for 14 months.

Google Optimize is used to test different versions of the website to improve the user experience and test how appropriate the website is. Data from such tests are stored for up to 90 days.

These are visitors’ IP addresses that Google Analytics uses in its collection. The IP addresses are anonymized before storage. Here you can read about how  Google anonymizes IP addresses.

At meny.no  we use Hotjar to increase the user experience for visitors to www.meny.no by analyzing usage patterns and web behavior. To do this, use the  heatmaps function and polls  for the  web analysis tool Hotjar. No tracking is done on the website and user patterns are not linked to  personally identifiable information. IP addresses are  anonymised  before storage on the server  and thus all user data becomes anonymous.   Here you can read more about how Hotjar anonymises IP address r. Data collected in Hotjar will be deleted after 12 months.

If you do not want Google Analytics or Hotjar to store data about you, you can either change the settings in your browser (as described further down the page) or you can download  a “google plugin” in your browser  or a Hotjar plugin .
